I've given up on trying to rearrange the blog so now I'm just titling pictures. Below is a picture of the 3 of us in costume at a party we went to last weekend. (Jack is a detective)
Tonight Evie and I re-dressed up for the trick-or-treaters. We took a walk around the neighborhood first. It was fun, and another excuse to put E in that cute dress again.

This is a recap of Louie's night - we took a walk around the neighborhood. He greeted some people who were sitting out to give out candy. He saw them and howled and acted like they were his friends he hadn't seen in ages. He had to go up and say hi, it was hilarious. Then we got back home and, when the kids started coming to the door, we resorted to leashing him to the bedroom door and letting him bark from there. Poor old man, he can't take all that excitement any more.

Awesome halloween pics! Very adorable witches... And good work, detective! Hopefully, Louie has relaxed from the rush of halloween sweets.
It is fun to see what you all are up to on Halloween. We have no pics to offer - no trick-or- treaters either; we just eat the candy!! Pat
that's mostly what we ended up doing too - we didn't have very many trick-or-treaters, which kind of surprised me since we live in suburbia here.
However, I forgot to tell people about the overweight teenager with no costume that came up, grabbed two Reese's PB cups, then took one more on the way out, as though she hadn't taken any before that. She was pretty excited about the PB cups. It was funny.
PB cups are real good. I laughed about Evie's familiar.
EV is a pretty darn cute witch. I'm glad shes moved past trying to eat Priscilla, and is now just hugging!
Why didn't anyone tell Jack about the witch theme for the evening? Or is he a witch detective?
Is Louie done with halloween costumes, or just taking a break this year? I need to get Elsie in costume one of these years.
i don't know if lou is done or just on hiatus. actually it really just depends on how many parties he's invited to. He hasn't been for a couple years now (i think he feels bummed about losing his social circle from Madison). Or just bummed about not getting fed halloween cupcakes anymore, one of the two.
