Halloween Night

We had an exciting Halloween. First, I worked (not the exciting part), then we went to best buy and picked up a new little computer for me. It's a Gateway notebook. I'm so excited!

I've given up on trying to rearrange the blog so now I'm just titling pictures. Below is a picture of the 3 of us in costume at a party we went to last weekend. (Jack is a detective)

Tonight Evie and I re-dressed up for the trick-or-treaters. We took a walk around the neighborhood first. It was fun, and another excuse to put E in that cute dress again.

Here is EV with her familiar, Priscilla

This is a recap of Louie's night - we took a walk around the neighborhood. He greeted some people who were sitting out to give out candy. He saw them and howled and acted like they were his friends he hadn't seen in ages. He had to go up and say hi, it was hilarious. Then we got back home and, when the kids started coming to the door, we resorted to leashing him to the bedroom door and letting him bark from there. Poor old man, he can't take all that excitement any more.

A better pic of E w/her familiar, and her broom.

That's it! Hope I didn't bore anyone. I'm eager to see other people's Halloween costume pictures!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

There was a glitch with our camera today so we lost all our pictures :( We went to a Halloween party yesterday and got some pics of E with her witch costume on. Then, today, we went to a birthday party for Evie's friend, Merritt. They had a great time playing together but those pictures are gone too. Well, we're trying to fix our problem with the camera. In the meantime I managed to get one video uploaded to the blog before it, too, was lost. Enjoy!

Bath time! She suddenly loves her ducky...... enough to put the whole head in her mouth. Extreeeeme teething!

We tried a bow in her hair the other day. I personally don't think it looks that cute on her, she doesn't need a bow!
It's about that age (she was 8 months on Monday) to start seeing if she wants to eat finger foods. So, I gave her some bananas yesterday. As you can see, she isn't really interested in finger foods quite yet....

oh sweet madison

View from the plane. For those of you who know the area, you can see the Monona Terrace, the Capital, and the campus.

We needed to see if Evie would fit into the overhead compartment. Turns out, she was not too big. Even so, the stewardess suggested that we store her under the seat in front of us instead.

Evie happy to visit Granpa and Uncle Ryan.

Beautiful view of the Monona Terrace from the Betty Lou Cruise we went on for Bonnie's wedding and reception.

I had to give a speech, something I was super nervous about. But I think it went over pretty well. I heard plenty of laughing - hopefully WITH me, not AT me ;)

Jack had to get a pic of his girls in front of his favorite lady. He had a little fling with her on his 25th birthday night. I still have pictures to prove it!

Bye Bucky! We'll miss you!!!!
Thanks everyone for your hospitality BTW. We didn't get very many other pictures but we had a great time hanging with people and actually spending time relaxing and visiting this time.
It may be a while before we come back up to visit. Evie is getting less and less patient with the whole flying experience. So, it may be a green Christmas in Austin for us. However, as always, we welcome visitors ;)
