wow

Are you F#@$ing kidding me? Africa is a country?!? Oh my God, we dodged a bullet last Tuesday. Even GW knows the 3 countries in NAFTA. Also... thanks FOXS news for keeping this information private... Luckily through other avenues (any public speaking engagement) the American public was able to see what an idiot she was, but not passing on info like that is essentially treasonous as far as I am concerned. This ignorant tantrum throwing baby could have been in charge of our nukes!?!?! And Fox news would have just stood by and let this happen, nay actively try to make this happen?!?!?!! This is FOXS NEWS reporting this so you can bet its probably toned down! Oh my God, we must be ever vigilant against idiots... never can they get this close again.

The first priority of the MSM (if Fox can be considered main stream) is maintaining their friendly ties with political insiders. That way they don't ever have to do any investigative journalism. They just go to the trough, and feed off whatever the "Washington insiders" are going to give them. If they didn't follow the rules set out by their special contacts, their easy access to information could be cut off. As a result, they don't report on a VP candidate who doesn't have a3rd grade understanding of geography, and they don't question our government's motivation for waging war. The MSM just reports what they are told to report. Shameful.

I forget where I heard this idea but I think I may have discussed it with you already DW, but the press should collectively tell people in power... hey, we wont cover you or give you publicity unless you give us access and dont limit our access when a story you percieve as negative comes out. McCain did this to Cambell Brown after she asked a talking head to name 1 thing Palin has done as head of the Alaska National Guard. He canceled his Larry King interview (shot himself in the foot there). The media thinks that it needs the politicians when in actuality it is the other way around. The media has the power to rise above shitty reporting if they do so collectively, and uphold journalistic integrity. What if McCain or Obama held a press conference last month and no one came?
